Whilst I agree with the sentiment, a half decent PC laptop can be had for peanuts off of ebay or in a second hand shop and is useful for loads of things that aren't mac. It only needs to be a lowly pentium I or something and they really are peanuts This is what I intend doing as despite hating microsoft, It's hardly a great expense these days to have a second hand PC.
