the ems filter in the polls is the DIODE FILTER MODULE(A102)in the 
news page of the doepfer site.as for the sound just listen to all 
these albums that have been made with the ems vcs3 synthi,or the ems 
synthi A...and you'll understand...my favourite EMS SYNTHI recordings 
are tangerine dream's:ZEIT,ATEM,PHAEDRA,RUBICON(HAUNTING SOUNDS!!)
also all of the early klaus schulze albums are full of the ems vcs3 
or the synthi A ...there you can enjoy the DIODE(EMS)FILTER!!!
AND,OF COURSE....ALL THESE STRANGE LASER-TYPE EFFECTS OF THE 
ALBUMS"OXYGENE" AND "EQUINOXE",and more have been created by jean-
michel jarre with the EMS VCS3/EMS SYNTHI A,that meaning the DIODE 
FILTER...
i only wish this module will,eventually, be released.....
