Doepfer

Hi,

Does anybody have experience in "cannibalizing" old synths and creating 
modules from them? I have MC-202 that I got modified for external input, 
with bad results - mid-range is emphasized on the expense of bass. (!?) Sad 
little mod I downloaded from the Internet.

I like IR-3109 (Roland filter in MC-202 and mighty SH-101), and I would like 
it in Doepfer or Frac-Rac form. Is there anybody doing that type of service?

I am aware of MC-202 mod making it semi-modular. What I need is more extreme 
- pull the chip out, and create Doepfer module out of it, period. And have 
one of the best filters ever.

And Arp Axxe is another possible victim. Bloody thing sounds like Arp 2600, 
if not even better. Instant Oxygene from Jarre.
