hello, as far as i remember, (i haven't used my a156 for a long time), the a156 does NOT pass the triggers that it receives from it's trigger inputs to its trigger outputs. the a156 output triggers ONLY when the incoming cv changes. so, if you send to the a156 a constant cv, it will output NO triggers at all, no matter if you send triggers to it's inputs. send to the a156 a changing cv signal(for example from an lfo) and you'll see that it generates triggers by itself. if you send to the a156 a trigger signal to it;s trigger inputs and a changing cv signal(for example an lfo sine) to it's cv inputs, then the a156 will output triggers in sync to the input triggers, only because at each input trigger that the a156 receives, it also receives a changing cv at the same times. the a156 trigger inputs are there only for "telling" the a156 WHEN to quantize the incoming voltage. so, depending in the incoming cv to be quantized, sometimes the a156 will output triggers at the same time as the triggers it receives in it's inputs and sometimes not. please, dieter, correct me if i'm wrong. bakis. --- phaeton777 <phaeton777@yahoo.com> wrote: > > My A-156 quantizer has stopped passing the trigger > pulse to the > trigger out jacks.
