Doepfer

hey guys, just wondering if anyone has any thought comparing the big briar 
etherwave with the response of the doepfer theremin module, I realize that 
having it modular would give me a lot more options, but I'm concerned more 
with the instrumentality of it.  in my experiences the bigbriar feels like 
"an instrument" and is capable of extreme nuance, and I'm not sure if the 
doepfer would give me the same feeling, although I haven't tried it out... 
any ideas?
