It depends on what caps we're talking about. If you look at MOTM distribution boards, they have some large caps on the power (not earth) rails, i believe, to give a local reserve of power for any thing that needs it. But, yeah, the AGND and DGND are bonded on the boards, so no room for experimentation there. However, have any of you simply tried increasing the gauge of your ground leeds, and, insted of running them to a point in thte rack, running larger gauge cables individually back to the psu (well, ideally the ocean ;) itself? This is what im going to try with my modular, but just havent gotten arround to it yet. Id be interested if anyone else has / does try this. Plus - any word from mr Doefper himself? This thread has been going on a while, and hes the man, who im sure, could enlighhten us all pretty nicely? Cheers, Julian
