Daisy chaining power supply lines (GND, +12V, -12V) is not a good idea. Each power cable (GND, -12V, +12V) leading from the power supply to the bus board should be connected as close as possible to the power supply. This is why our power supplies have several connectors for each terminal ((GND, -12V, +12V). 2. The cross-section of the cables used to connect power supply and bus boards should be as large as possible (at least 0,75 qmm) to avoid voltage losses within the cables. 3. Use the middle connectors of the bus boards to connect the cables from the power supply. 4. Use only a power supply with good and fast voltage regulation (i.e. regulating both voltages to +/-12.00 V as exactly and as fast as possible in case of load current changes). Otherwise a changing load current will cause a varying voltage. Standard voltage regulators (like 78xx/79xx) are not good enough. Unforunately this parameter is not available for many power supplies and one has to try. Best wishes Dieter Doepfer
