I definitley do not recommend a Pin Matrix for the use in a 
Audio-Instrument. The crosstalk between the different rails in such 
matrix devices is quite annoying. I once bought a Ghielmetti matrix 
(which is the state of the art producer) and I used it in my Formant for 
a year or so. You could hear always the unused VCOs and the LFOs via the 
crosstalk.

I plan to insert this matrix to the Doepfer vocoder system, because a 
crosstalk is not disturbing there (all rails carry the same signal in 
principle).
