Sorry, yes, I stand corrected on the skip function:  "The gate output simply
has to be connected to the CV input of the A-154 clock generator. If the
corresponding switch of the A-155 is set correspondingly in the gate row the
step will be skipped."  Less obvious than on the Arp or the RS200 but
definitely a skip.

I agree completely that the A155/A154/etc. combinations go into territory
far beyond the Arp's.  At the same time, for what it is I think the Arp is
one of the all-time great sequencers and very musically designed, and I
wouldn't let go of something like that lightly.

ok, but the two a155's, a154, a156 AND a150
combination can do a million things that the arp
sequencer cannot do. also, with the a155+a154 you HAVE
a skip function! you skip steps by sending zero
voltages to the pwm input of the a154 clock.
