Sorry, yes, I stand corrected on the skip function: "The gate output simply has to be connected to the CV input of the A-154 clock generator. If the corresponding switch of the A-155 is set correspondingly in the gate row the step will be skipped." Less obvious than on the Arp or the RS200 but definitely a skip. I agree completely that the A155/A154/etc. combinations go into territory far beyond the Arp's. At the same time, for what it is I think the Arp is one of the all-time great sequencers and very musically designed, and I wouldn't let go of something like that lightly. --Chuck -----Original Message----- From: Bakis Sirros [mailto:synth_freak_2000@yahoo.com] Sent: Monday, December 20, 2004 2:25 PM To: Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com Subject: RE: [Doepfer_a100] Doepfer sequencer funcionality ok, but the two a155's, a154, a156 AND a150 combination can do a million things that the arp sequencer cannot do. also, with the a155+a154 you HAVE a skip function! you skip steps by sending zero voltages to the pwm input of the a154 clock. bakis. --- unknown freak <vogelscheiss@vogelscheiss.com> wrote: > If I had an Arp sequencer I'd never get rid of it. > > The A-155 doesn't have skip-step switches for the > stages.
