I'll keep looking, but thanks.  I was being too specific in my search 
perhaps.

Of course, that makes perfect sense.  
I did the mod with a DPDT switch bringing the parallel R/C pair in 
and out of circuit.....should be great, and allows preservation of 
original design sound, but I haven't been able to play with it yet.
