My manual says I need to remove the soldering connection. so that's what I did. You can remove the A180 by unscrewing it using the two front screws. Since it's passive and doesn't connect to the sysbus, you can easily remove it. Then no cutting or damaging, just heat your soldering device and remove the bridge between connectors 4 and 5. You can also connect them again if so desired, so no damage done. Works like a charm. If you have a multimeter with a connection/resistance test, it's easy to check if you really removed the connection. Good luck, Hens
