I just wired this up, and it seemed to clock evenly enough. Bear in mind
that  the trigger output of the 909 is going to be a very short pulse, not
like an even 50% duty-cycle clock, so this will have an effect on the
trigger outputs of the 155. If you have a trigger delay module you can
lengthen these triggers into something more closely resembling a normal
clock signal.
