Hi Bakis and others, I noticed that some members here are complaining that there so little participation concerning voting for future Doepfer modules. I must say that I hadn't put out my vote, until yesterday. First I thought, when I put a lot of no's on several modules, this could wreck the expectations of a lot you. If I'm not interested in a certain module, that doesn't mean that others here can't be!!! So I didn't want to spoil any fun. Yesterday I changed my mind (not to spoil to much fun) to vote for modules which I would like see go in production and some I don't. When I scrolled through the list of open polls, I was suprised how many ideas had been put in! At the bottom there I stumbled into the closed polls. There was a module what certainly would get my thumbs up: EMS filter. But alas, I couldn't vote for it anymore! So my question is, why can't polls not be open longer, so the many new members can bring out their vote as well?! Concerning some exotic modules, I will buy some in future like the Frenquency shifter and I think the Subharmonic generator. But I have to consider very well the space I have left. For me it's important to fill the space as much with the more "ordinary" modules first like oscilators, Lfo's, filters, eg's and vca's. I think you all agree, you can't have enough of those, for creating more complex sounds, doubling up sine waves, combining different filter types ect. Roel.
