Doepfer

Hi,

since two days I have the the A-196 PLL in my rack. Until now I failed 
in creating a realy satisfying tracking, when I use the patch described 
in http://www.doepfer.de/a100_man/A196_Patch_FMult.gif

I use "Comp 2" and "VCO Range Mid", but I do not get more than a 
tracking of five or six half tones (c to f).

How do you set the VCO-Offset and the Lowpass Frequency?

The A-196 Ins and Outs seem to be very sensitive regarding the load of 
the connected modules. Especially the 196's VCO-Out seems to be 
influenced by modules which are connected to the further audiostream 
(means the connected to the cable, that is symbolized by the arrow in 
that image)

Has anyone better experiences?
Any experiences using the A171 VC-Slewlimiter instead of the VCF?
