Doepfer

Hello everybody,

I "drive" my Doepfer from Roland MPU-101. And it produces nasty clicks in 
all MPU modes (1, 2, 3, and 4) but "Special", so I always used MPU in 
special mode. I also use Cubase. A few days ago, I decreased velocity of all 
notes to 0 in Cubase, and the click was gone! Only pitch CV and Gate were 
patched from MPU to Doepfer A185, and nothing else. (The same thing happened 
with Roland System 100 unit 101, when I owned it. And that was Roland device 
driving Roland synth!)

It is complete mistery to me how velocity parameter in Cubase can have an 
impact on Gate signal  forming in MPU. Having MPU manual could help, too (I 
guess Roland support on MPU is a long time gone). But the bottom line is 
that those unnatural clicks are history (this is not infamous fast envelope 
click, but something slightly worse). Regards,
