Hello, I'm not sure I understand this thread. What do you mean by +-15v into/out of +-12v? ...and do you really mean to use a 1/4 to 1/8 converter? Generally, when builders say +-15v or +-12v, they mean the power supply. For the most part you would never take the power out or in via a 1/4 or 1/8. If you are assembling a hybrid system, using the wrong power supply for any particular module could be fatal to the module. But if you are talking about porting module signals (control voltages or oscillator signals) from one module to another of a different builder, it should not make much difference. Be prepared to attenuate signals because it is possible to overdrive or fry components. But with care, damage like that is just not all that common... Clarification, please? sfrules (proving, once again, that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, especially if it is erroneous...)
