OT (Doefper), but a follow-up from previous post......

The above link is probably where I got my A-1000 info.   I've never owned 
that first version, and I've not found another reference in a two minute 
scan of google links, so I can't really confirm that it is a fact.   Maybe 
someone else on the forum has a version 1 Cat and can check the 'model'.  
Perhaps it is only written on the circuit board....in which case, it's not 
that big a deal.

Again, sorry for off topic action.....just a bit defensive, I suppose.
