Hello! i own an a100 suitcase cabinet with (still) just 3 modules. since a few weeks i own an acidlab bassline ( www.acidlab.de ), which is able to put out CV and gate. the cv is 1V/oct. -> no problem there. the gate signal is mentioned in the manual as +12V, which leads me to the question: is a +12V gate signal dangerous for the a100 modules, which handle usually +5V gate signals. in case of being dangerous: is it sufficient to let the 12V through an easy attenuator potentiometer and set its resistance down untill a suitable voltage is set? (in this case: which potentiometer would be right? a simple 10k linear?) it would be fine to use the basslines sequencer with the doepfer, but i was too scared to try the 12V gate signal ;) (the cv works fine, though). it would be even better if no external device, attenuator etc. is necessary. so far, greetings florian
