Doepfer

Hello all,

I'm wondering if anyone has a method of overdriving a filter.    I have a Roland SH09.  I 
often route the synth back into itself through the external input by use of an aux send on 
my mixer or by the headphone output.  The  filter overdrives in a very pleasant way and 
makes some unique effects.  I'd be happy to post some example is anyone was interested.  

I'm wondering how one might achieve the same effect with  doepfer modules.  The filters 
only have one input and one output.  I'm guessing that the filter could be modified to send 
the output back into itself with perhaps a attenuator.  Anyone try this?   or Does anyone 
have any other techniques for achieving this?
