Hi isjtar > well same here with the software. BUT if doepfer would manage to make a good granular > module that can be integrated in the A-100 and other modulars, this would be a milestone > module. To my experience granular synthesis is something, which is mostly used for mulitvoiced sounds (pad sounds). So I do not think, that monophonic module will have _that_ big appeal also to the advanced users. Also a module which is capable for karplus&strong (e.a.) can be used for basic granular stuff. Such a module does short delays of adjustable size and is tunable. Already two of these modules can give nice results: one for the sample loop, the other adds a short delay, which places the delay in the loop point of the original signal. I did similar stuff with two Korg SDD-3000. > i really often feel the need to get more digital means in the A-100 and real integration can > never be accomplished in software. I think, this is a field, where another company should/could jump in. When we have AS and Doepfer, why shouldn't be there another company who produces digital modules compatible to the doepfer/AS ?
