As terrible as it sounds I'm glad I'm not the only one with this
problem.

As stated earlier in the thread, external clocking signals run smooth
into the unit. I wonder what could possibly cause the sudden shift in
tempo. Mr. Doepfer (or anyone with knowledge to this design), when you
get a chance could you kindly chime in and offer an explination as to
why it acts that way? 

P.S. other than that very small issue, BRILLIANT module :)

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
