Doepfer

The question I've always kinda wanted to ask Dieter.
Why on earth, the dull grey patch cords and not different
coloured ones like red, blue, green, yellow, black etc.

Yes, yes! I know you can buy different coloured patch
cords elsewhere, but why did Doepfer not do this in the
first place?  Is it to keep costs to a minimum.
