Doepfer

yes i suppose you could call the 106 "drier", the resonance can 
sometimes sound nearly like a squarewave.  it's a beast, forget hi-fi 
nice-sounding stuff with it. which is why it's a cool filter, though 
;-)

from listening to them at the Musikmesse (less than optimal monitoring 
conditions obviously), i had the impression that both the 48db moog 
filter and the a-109 signal processor had a watery quality to their 
res...especially the 109, sounded like i.e. a pulse or mx6 to me....but 
hey, no guarantee;-)
