Doepfer

yesterday i got the serge vcs and it kept me awake the
whole night. this must be one of the most versatile
modules ever built.

first of all, the mounting holes on my module are
correctly aligned, they fit in just like a doepfer
module. no gaps here.

i tried different things with this module, using it as
vc envelope, vc lfo, pulse delay, envelope follower,
vco, vcf and waveshaper. it just depends on the way
the module is patched. it does everything, but with a
very own and unusual flavour. it is no replacement
for specialized modules like vco's or vcf's,
but it is also a very powerful module with unique
functions. i don't know where to start. i guess
yesterday you tried out several things with the vcs too.
maybe we should catch each other offline for a
more in-depth discussion?
