The wide range is required finally only for the usage of the as a sound generator which uses a resonance/delay based synthesis (Karplus Strong, Granular or similar). But what should be the use of an Oscillator if it is not playable in clean 1V/Oct? Exact 1V/Oct is a MUST! > the BBD and the SC filter modules so that the BBD > clock can be used even to drive the SC filter directly > (internal connection between the modules if they are > placed side by side).
