the benefit of having an 1v/oct response is also that it
is easier to set up an external filter for the bbd, if
you want to get rid of the clock noise.
i don't know what i'd prefer for the bbd, i'm fine with
both solutions. but it is for sure important that the
digital delay will be 1v/oct for karplus-strong synthesis.
