bakis, 
i dont have a 150 to see what you mean..but if you have a 162 
does that help?  (maybe this has already been suggested) i use 
the 162 on the 155 trigs to turn them into gate signals when 
necessary.  set delay time to '0' and vary the length to set gate 
time.
