hello david,

the a109 is very good value for the money.
the filter offers the typical cem sound, it
is soft, smooth, with very good tracking.
the character is relatively neutral and
not as coloring as f.e. an a108 or a102.
the a109 vca seems to be a matter of taste
because of it's response, but i like it.

i don't use my a109 often because i tend to use
filters with stronger coloring, but i know that
other forum members use and love theirs a lot.
