Isn't it you who bridges blown fuses with conducting candy papers? 
Glad to hear that you've changed your approch! :)
Don't know how much current your modules draw but since the old PSU 
supplies 650mA and the PSU2 1200mA you should get fuses which 
correspond to the PSU: 0.65A or 1.2A or *slightly* higher. Regards,
