Hi Ingo,

What's wrong with using a quantizer? From your reaction to the idea
of an alternative quantizer (some time ago) I got the impression that
you are not really into odd tunings, or am I wrong?

Maybe an alternative quantizer could be a high precision adder if
you allow quantizing right down to the cent, and use the transpose-
function for adding or subtracting. If you could combine outputs in 3
ranges, e.g. 1 ... 24 cents, 10 ... 240 cents and 100 (one semitone)
... 2400 (two octaves) you could assemble any pitch you want AND
do crazy things with tunings

ok, I'll stop now about the quantizer idea ;)
