Ben,

After sending the initial email I had progressed in connecting the 
system up as you suggest underneath, except that I hadn't routed an 
ADSR output to a VCA control input whilst setting the initial gain to 
zero.
Thanks very much for your help....I'm now on my way !
Despite owning analogues for many years, this is my first stab at 
using a modular system.It's amazing how much you DON'T know !
