Hello, Lots of people will tell you how great the morphing filter and the Steiner variation filter are. Not to mention the various ladder filters. Can't comment; don't have 'em. I'd like to sing the praises for the A-108 and the A-101-2. The A108 gives you low pass with 4 slopes and a really great bandpass, simultaneously. Why settle for just 12 OR 24dB? I'm tempted to say that it has a lot of personality, but the truth is that the emphasis (feedback) can give many different personalities to the signal you put in. Lots of tweaking in there! I wish I had more bandpass filters in my system. The A-101-2 gives you lowpass filter or VCA or both. It does have personality! But it's hard to describe...maybe "organic," Since using it I have, with great difficulty, been resisting the urge to replace all my VCA's with A-101-2's. Anybody else share my preference? sfrules
