sorry, no help but why hasn't midi been replaced by now?
it was good, sure it's stretched way beyond it's intentions, where else is
an almost 25 year old spec god in any industry?  we need 3 fat cables to
handle less than one could now? i've had too many midi interfaces over the
years to know it should be dead by now, it's a sad restriction now.
Sixtoo, your music is great, but midi needs a proper burial. We all deserve
better than a twisted series of workarounds and cryptic CC#s.
