It's not quite clear to me what you have tried here, but have you 
fiddled with the clock divider actually in the A-190? It is detailed on 
page 10 of the A-190 manual. (Unfortunately I can't say I have tried 
it, as I don't have anything which can generate a MIDI clock!)
