Adam,

our cable manufacturer had no parameter available that tells the flexibility
or stiffness of the cables. This is why the different productions series of
the cables differ in the flexibility/stiffness. I understand that you prefer
a more flexible/less stiff cable as I do as well. We already instructed our
cable manufacturer to use a more flexible cable in the future as most users
prefer more flexible cables. But I have to point out that the stiffness has
no influence to the cable quality. The most important part of the cable is
the quality of the plugs. As far as I know the stiffness is not caused
mainly by the type of shielding but by the stiffness of the plastic material
used for the cable.
