ok, i see. i just misinterpreted "amusement" ;-)
the valves should be responsible for the coloring
and the warmth of the filter, while the ssm2164
provides the filter functions.
i think that blacet uses the ssm2164 in some of their designs,
but i'm not sure if they use it in their state-variable filters
as well. i have to check that, when i'm back in the studio.
