kris,
i haven`t tried this with my a155 because from previous experience with a 
serge tkb / clock combination, i knew the basic "vocabulary" that might be 
available with this technique. still your comment did prompt one observation 
on my part - i love using the a117 as an audio source, clocked by a vco and i 
get the same "1/2 second then dropout"  effect trying to drive the a117 with 
an a111.  works okay with an a110, though. weird...........
