to all,
maybe its just me but i`m still a bit unclear about this - gates / triggers 
are positive going, rising edge  signals / waveshapes / etc. - right ?  
whether the source is symmetrical  about zero or strictly unipolar, as long 
as the voltage swing exceeds the gate / trigger threshold, shouldn`t this 
produce a usable gate / trigger ?
