connecting headphones

2006-07-06 by untiedstates

What's the simplest and most direct way to connect headphones without
using a mixer or a headphone amp module?

Would it be as easy as making an adapter with a resistor in it?

I want to just plug in to the A-138 mixer, for example.

thanks,

Bryan

Hi,

I just plug my headphones (minijack) into any output jack and it works!

hmm.. mine don't work connected directly - they're SOny MDR-V6's with
an impedance of 75 ohms and I figured there was an impedance issue or
something. Maybe I'm wrong.

WHen I connected my headphones what I heard was distorted even with
lower levels.
