Which filter to choose?

Which filter to choose?

2006-09-19 by Chris Chappel

I'm designing my Doepfer setup and need some advice on which filters to get. I own a
Moog Voyager so I want filters that sound different than Moog. The ones I've been looking
into are: A102, 105, 122. I'm already planning on getting the Wasp. Any advice on these
would be much appreciated!

the extreme filter and the wasp filter should have you hanging loose
for a while. love those. I actually am extremely tired of "moog
sounding" LP filters. baah, next phlease . .

hello christopher,

if i had to choose between a102, a105 and a122 i would
take the a105, i just love it's sound.
the wasp is a good choice if you want something really
different compared to a moog filter, same for the a106/1.

best wishes

Depends on your use of Moog Filters
