The polerizing mixer is a good low cost and versitile solution
for this. It can also be used for many other things also.
When budget and space are a consideration as in my case,
it's a lot of bang for the buck.

Sorry, in re-reading your post: this mixer is good for combing and
inverting/mixing volages or audio. You would need somthing else
for stereo panning:
A-134 Voltage Controlled Panning.
Of course use what ever you want to
control it.

i'm looking to add a few mods, putting an order together....i'd like an inverter to do stereo panning filters etc...i'd also like to create/combine envelopes, i figure i could use an interter and a mixer, or a polarizing mixer alone...any thoughts about this?

i thought if you just split an lfo or similar, send one sig to one filterand an inverted sig to another it would do the same....
   
  what i'm really trying to wrap my head around is how the polarizing mixer would compair to an invertor/mixer combo...i don't have the mods, so i'm trying to think it out...lots of bright folk, i figure som insightful comments are in order....
