does nobody else miss this ? 

a simple module that looks like a multiple, but is in fact eight gates, each controlled by a 
specific midi note. no need to make it programmable (and hence larger and more 
expensive), all my drum machines/sequencers  will put out whatever note numbers i need. 
same for the midi channel (dip switch on the circuit board perhaps ?).

dead simple, but very handy for firing off those envelopes/swapping waveforms etc. etc.

(while on the subject of relatively simple modules, here's my vote for the switchable 
multiple)

It's available but not as an A-100 module but as an OEM/DIY interface:
MTC64.
