hi people, i notice there's no poll concerning the 138d crossfader/fx-insert, although the response seemed pretty positive. was the response so good that no poll is necessary, or has it been forgotten/shelved/left to ripen ? cheers, stu

We are already very close to production and plan a release date of about September 2007. The first version (without fx send/return) will probably not go into production. But a poll that relates to special details of the module could make sense (e.g. we will probably exchange the send/receive sockets, i.e. left = send, right = return). Best wishes Dieter Doepfer

hello Dieter, so, what poll exactly should i make? best regards, Bakis. --- hardware@doepfer.de wrote: > > hi people, > > > > i notice there's no poll concerning the 138d > > crossfader/fx-insert, although the response > > seemed pretty positive. was the response so good > that no poll is > > necessary, or has it been > > forgotten/shelved/left to ripen ? > > > > cheers, > > > > stu > > The current state is that we will manufacture the > version 2 of this module > (combined crossfader/fx send/return) as explained on > our web site. From my point of view no poll is necessary. Only if there are suggestions that deviate from our suggestion (version 2) a corresponding poll does make sense. I think such a poll should be started by the member who has ideas for changes - provided that there is someone. Best wishes Dieter Doepfer

These "simple" modules will probably go into production in autumn 2007: Switched Multiples A-182 Precision Adder/Bus Access A-185-2 (version 3 with 3 fixed inputs, one variable input, normal and inverted output) Gate Combiner A-186 Manual Gate A-164 (version 2, 4HP) For some more sophisticated modules I'm not sure if they will be available already at the same time, as there are still some discussions and/or technical problems to solve: A-106-6 XP Filter A-135-2 Modular Voltage Controlled Filter/Mixer/Panner A-149-3 Fluctuating Random Voltages A-1?? Dual Switched Capacitor Filter A-111-2 Dynamic VCO A-100TKB (here we are about to try a better solution with capacity sensors instead of the hum noise principle) Probably next week these new modules will be ready for shipping: A-106-5 SEM VCF A-132-2 Quad VCA A-143-9 Voltage Controlled Quadrature LFO/VCO Best wishes Dieter Doepfer

hello Dieter,
what's the 106-6 XP filter? is it the MS50 filter?
best regards,
Bakis.

> hello Dieter, > what's the 106-6 XP filter? is it the MS50 filter? > best regards, > Bakis. Bakis, no, it's not the MS-50 filter. Please look at our website for details: www.doepfer.com > PRODUCTS > A-100 > FUTURE MODULES > A-106-6 XP VCF So far the production of the MS-50 module (reserved module number is A-106-2) does not make sense as we have only about 30 of the special circuits available that was used in the MS-50 (CA3019). Only if we can get more of these circuits the module may go into production. Producing only 30 modules will nearly double the price compared to regular production in higher quantities. No poll is necessary for the A-106-6 as we will manufacture this module in any case. We have a lot of inquiries for a filter similar to the A-107 Morphing Filter but without the morphing feature and with simultaneous filter outputs at a much lower price compared to the A-107. The price of the A-106-6 will be about half of the A-107 and the release date is scheduled for fall 2007. The prototype is already working as it should. Best wishes Dieter Doepfer

Mmmmm only 30...i guess there will be 30 people here who would like an ms/50 filter and who would like to pay for it. Count me in:) grtz Bruce --- hardware@doepfer.de wrote: > > hello Dieter, > > what's the 106-6 XP filter? is it the MS50 filter? > > best regards, > > Bakis. > > Bakis, > > no, it's not the MS-50 filter.
