hi,
Can i make the a-143-1 snappier ?
should be possible with a Capacitor change, not ?

Does anybody have an exact advice which parts are to exchange ?

Thats right. I think Dieter already posted it once here. If not I would 
have to have a look at the schemoes at home this evening.

I checked the surch now.
I couldn't find anything from dieter doepfer.
I just found the mod from Peter Grenader to add a second cap per switch.
He speaks from C2 as the timing cap.

ok, i see it, it's a 1N K100. .


So, i soldered the old one out,
tryed to put a new one in,
and what does i see:
the Solderpoints are off, lost, kaputt die chose................

yeah, i have no experience with Rohs.
My Iron was to cold, so i putted it hotter ;)
maybe too much..............
as i'm anyway angri i try the next one too......

puh, i fixed it.
The 470p Cap ( instead of the 1N )seems not to change anything.


Funny wise i hear it now different.
The 143-1 seems to be not slower then my a141.
I'm no more shure if a faster a143-1 would bring any advantage for
Karplus Strong
