Now I'm confused, so let me tell you excatly what I want to do: I'm making music for a ballet next year and the overall set-up is; Laptop running Max/Msp, 16 Channel Mixer, RME Fireface 800 and Adat Converter. The instruments are: Guitar, Saxophone, Drum set and Keyboard. The Moogerfooger 251 has a four input mixer, two out ( - & + ) a 4-way multiple, a lag control, LFO with triangular and Square waveform, two attenuators, Noise output and a double Sample and Hold function. The 251 has no audio in or out. The Moogerfoogers Ring Modulator has a LFO with a sine and square output, rate and lo/hi frequency can be controlled. The Moogerfoogers Freqbox has a VCO and four different waveforms to choose from, env. amount, FM amount and Sync ON/OFF can be controlled. The Moogerfoogers Analog Delay has delay time, short/long and feedback. Internal or external loop is also an option. 4 mics from the drums and 1 from the saxophone should go directly into the Moogerfoogers/Doepfer set-up to avoid latency. The input from the mics needs to be muted sometimes and the amount comming in, should be controllable. So first of all I need a Doepfer device that can control 5 audio inputs and send them on to other devices. What else do I need to make it work? What can of MDI to CV interface would you recommend, A-190, A-191 or MCV 4? I want to be able to control as much as possible! Thanks once again. Simon > > >
