Hi, I am looking for a "EES MIDI CV 7" MIDI/CV-interface. I am in the european union, but world wide offers are welcome. Florian

I just added to DIN sync IN and OUT to my Boss DR-110. On my scope the DR-110 CLock appears to be a perfect square wave, 0-5V. HOWEVER, when I use this as a master to run clocked modules (within my Doepfer system), everything seems off... The set-up is as follows: DR-110 DIN/ Clock out->A-160 Clock Divider->divided clocks out to various modules. Is the DR-110 clocked from the trailing edge or something? Has anybody else done this? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanx, Tony _________________________________________________________________ Don't get caught with egg on your face. I was wondering if it were possible to direct couple the A-112 so as to use it to record and playback control voltages, modulations, lfos etc... Maybe it's the clock spec of the DR-110 (I don't know this detail about the DR-110). For example the midi or Sync clock is 96 beats per measure. One has to divide this clock e.g. by 6 or 12 to obtain the usual 16 or 8 clocks per measure. You can obtain such a division e.g. by connecting one of the A-161 outputs to the reset input of the A-160 (provided that you own an A-161) or by an A-163 (modified for DC coupled in/outputs). Best wishes Dieter Doepfer

For DC coupling of the output one has to short the 100nF capacitor C11. From the schematics I'd expect a negative DC offset of about -2.5V and an inverted output as the current output of the DAC is converted into a voltage by an opamp inverter without input resistor. You will have to add another inverter (e.g. A-175 or A-138c) to obtain a non-inverted signal and a positive (or with A-138c adjustable) offset. Best wishes Dieter Doepfer

Hi Anthony > DR-110 DIN/ Clock out->A-160 Clock Divider->divided clocks out to various modules. Be aware, that as every counter the A-160 is in the resetted state in position 1. The first incoming clock advances the counter to the next step (means: /2 will raise or at A161 it will advance to position 2). The A160/161 dividers are not usable for synced sequence clock dividing. As far as I know the only module, which works with external clock like necessary for sequences (starting with 1 at the first clock in), is the A-154. Also the A155 behaves wrong. Floran
