Re: [Doepfer_a100] Digest Number 208

G'day Rachel, Love ya story !: I was travelling in Europe, saw the system in a shop in Utrecht and couldn't stop thinking about it till I bought a system to bring home to Oz with me! Went right to Doepfer's nice little "factory" in Munich, just to know where it comes from. Ev On Earth, Melb. Message: 1

Subject: Another newbie!
Hi there,
I went to the city yesterday for a doctor's appointment and
came home with a Doepfer A100 Mini system. I thought I had better
subscribe
to this list to keep in touch.
Anyway, it seems like a great synth and even though I've barely touched it
yet, I know it has something going for it. I've had the modular
bug for a long time (I have a Roland System 100) but this is my first
real full on modular system.....
The only thing that is confusing me is the A190 CV controller.
I managed to get a MIDI channel assigned and tuned it a little but
the A190 interface is quite confusing.
Is there some sort of software (or a Logic environment) that I could use
to manage my A190?
Also, although I bought the synth new (in Australia) the guys in the shop
couldn't find the manual. I know about the PDF's on the Doepfer
website but I was wondering if it's possible to get the proper ring
bound manual somehow? I'm a stickler for these things, you know!
Anyway, I am bound to have a few more questions in the future.....
