Quad Fader Joystick Module in Euro

Quad Fader Joystick Module in Euro

Check out this Modcan Module:

I'd love to be able to take 4 waveforms and fade them from one to
another to one output. I wonder how many combinations of modules in
Euro it would take to do this? Maybe the A-135 4 Channel CV Mixer and
maybe 2 X-Y Joystick modules. Easier way? Something potentially in the
Doepfer future?

I'm imagining that you could use the upcoming Doepfer dual cross
fader module and a single joystick for control: 2 waveforms into the
1st xfader inputs, 2 into the 2nd crossfader and then mix the
outputs of both... ?

Right. And it's possible to modify the A-134-2 Dual VC Crossfader to have
one summing output only (no soldering, just jumpers). For details please
refer to the preliminary info page of the A-134-2. A prototype will we
available at NAMM next week. The module will be available about March/April
2008.

Best wishes

Excellent! I was already going to get one of these. The summing
option makes it even more worthwhile.

Re: [Doepfer_a100] Quad Fader Joystick Module in Euro

Hi Dan

Keep in mind that the joysticks of Doepfer do not allow maximum corner
positions due to phyiscal reasons (there is a circular mask which
prevents the corern position). That might be annoying if you cannot mix
two waveforms at maximum level.
