Re: LFO Divisions

Re: LFO Divisions

Hi Stu...

Iam using a soft LFO coming from my Kenton Pro Solo. It would be good if I could stick that in somewhere on the modular and get multiple LFO divisions. I like wobbling things at different rates. There are ways to do it manually but I can never get manual LFO's to sound as tight and snappy. I make rhythmically based music so tightness is pretty important.

As was mentioned I could draw in LFO control shapes in my sequencer but that brings me back to the computer and kind of stops my workflow and to be honest I just love doing things on the modular... feels more immeadiate.

I was given a few ideas in the posts and until Dieter brings out the LFO module I'll try work on them.

thanks all

Ken

Using A160 to divide that software LFO and then sending those division to the A143 QUAD AR/ AD module you could do exactly what you are speaking of...

Each of the 4 ARs could be triggered at a rythmic division of the soft LFO, and you would have individual control of the shape (via attack and Release/ Decay controls) and the offset.
