a-148 s&h acting weird?

a-148 s&h acting weird?

2008-02-26 by astroschnautzer

Hello, me again with an "issue" . Wonderin about my sample&hold unit, the upperone
fuctions precisly as I expect it to but he lower act as an sample and hold but it also adds the
trig and sample in input signals to the output signal, this can be actually a quite nice effect,
but is this a "feature" or is this not working correctly?

If it really works as you descibed it's a fault.

Pay attention that the factory setting of the new version of the A-148 is

upper unit = S&H
lower unit = T&H

Maybe this is what you discovered. But the trig input signal should not
appear at the output.

Best wishes

yup, youre right, it was the track and hold that makes it sound like the noise is coming
through when the triggering lfo has a narrow pulse, i thought it cant be that because a
ms20 has track and hold (?) an it HAS to have a narrow pulse to sound like sample and
hold... confusing....

Ahhh,
That answered my question!

Is there any way to change the upper into a T&H?

If it had been a snake, it would have bit me.

Fantastic!

Thank you Mr. Doepfer!
